injectors: Mach 1.6 or Jammer stage 2's

I'm running stock with a 150 FASS. I'm planning on towing a 5'er and am looking for a recommendation for either F1 Mach 1.6 or Jammer stage 2's - the Jammer's cost $250 less than the Mach 1.6's? Thanks, DD

Mach 1.6, are way better than jammer. I would rather run stock than jammers. What fuel box you running and turbo? I would put on a bigger turbo like S362, if you tow heavy and lots of hills. What fuel mods have you done? What you running for tranny? If your stock, you'll have issues. You'll need a clutch or valve body upgrade/aftermarket torque converter. To be reliable as you don't want to break down towing. I tow 12k, and run methanol spray to cool the truck so I can run cruise control. I'll to lazy to do the pyro watch all day.

I'm running stock except for a 150 FASS and a high performance VP44 combo I purchased with fuel pressure gauge and drawstraw. So my next steps in prep for pulling a 5er are to get the 100K valve adjustment and injectors - leaning toward the Mach 1.6.. Thanks for the info on turbo and torque converter upgrades for towing. I'm also looking to install an edge w adrenaline - thinking that will also need the wire tap cover kit, extender cable to mount? Thanks, DD

If the tranny is stock and you tow, you could kill the torque converter (ask me how I know this) in short order. You'll gain an extra 60rwhp just by tapping the pump but you'll kill the tranny. I would almost leave the stock mode (just use the box for boost fouler), when you tow.

This question could be paraphrased to, should I get a Guinness or a pre-diluted Bud Light at the bar? Tap water is cheaper

I've got an Edge Juice w/Attitude. I wouldn't worry about the stealth cover to tap the wire. The connector that comes with it is plenty good. Just put it on recently. Haven't gotten to tow anything with it yet to see how it does.

I used the stealth cover. It works pretty good, that way you don't have to use the connector. Its easier to get warranty if you have injection issues on a fresh rebuild. I using a comp box/smarty stack and spray 50/50 methanol/water at 15psi. I pulled 380rwhp and 450 rwhp on spray at our last dyno event. I hardly made any smoke either.

Ok.. so to be sure I understand - if I install the F1 Mach 1.6 injector set, do I need to also upgrade the turbo and torque-converter? Thanks, DD

nope there mild enough that you dont have to. I'm running stock turbo & tranny with an edge comp 4x3 & smarty on #2 with no issues.

All of the rebuilder's are onto this trick..... So expect to pay as there will be no warranty.

I doubt that you'll get any warranty regardless even if the pump hasn't been tapped. It just a game, it depends on the dealer.

I would say yes on the torque converter. I killed my TC with just a Edge EZ. Now that my tranny is DTT'ed I tow with a comp and Mach 1.6's. Doesn't even feel like the same truck!
