BAD shudder when towing???

Thanks for the info Aggie, i had to stop after i left town yesterday because i had the smarty on 8..yea first little hill and the egts were headin up, and i believe i loaded #2.. i had no issues on this towing trip, so that could be the problem i had, to much timing and when i'd start a hill in 5th it would buck, but if i shoved it into 4th and got the R's up it didnt do it... i'll check everything 2nite after work..thanks again...

I agree with turning the timing down. With my auto, I'll get a TC shudder when the power level is turned up, and the TC locks up giving a low RPM. Once the RPMs go above a certain level then it disappears. Just my .02

I've run my TST before without my Smarty loaded...I was shocked how high the EGTs got compared to running around with the Smarty loaded on a timing setting.

Well i did the APPS reset last night, then when finished just fired it up to make sure all was good, this morning i got in to take off and instantly noticed a differance in the throttle response, i mean big time and it was cold..so maybe this helped out too, i wont be going home till sunday so i'll check everything then... thanks for the info..
