What a mess. Yesterday's coffee still in the pot. Spoon will stand up in it. Dragon sounds like a CTD needing valve adjustment.
Threw it out. Made a pot of Cambridge Roasting Company's Papua New Guinea coffee. Watched Jerry roast it at the farmer's market on Saturday. When you try this you'll use your Folger's for compost.
Some farm fresh eggs and venison sausage on the counter. Fry up what you want.

Still gorgeous here in the Smokies. Trying to decide whether to head out tomorrow as planned and head into a bunch of rain and garbage, or stay thru the weekend, then head south on Monday.
OK, into the gym and get to look like Scotty - - - uhhh, well, on second thought, I my pants will not fit if my LEGGS look like his. I will just get beautiful instead. Uhhhh, well, on third thought, I will just "get" - - - whatever.

was texting with a younger person. thought they had a 'conference call' type text as they kept referring to Tom. who is Tom? oh well. people showed up the next day. now I know who Tom was.......
it was funny after being thoroughly ashamed. I am comfortable with being clueless.

Jerry is the one man band that imports old fashioned raw coffee from Papua New Guinea and roasts it in his home made roaster mounted in a trailer at farmer's markets. The aroma from the roaster, and word of mouth are his only advertisement.

Sausage Aficionado (In training)
Happy Wednesday all y'all. It is WINDY here on the edge of the prairies!! The wind has been blowing 40mph - 60mph during daylight hours since Saturday. On a good note it has blown away the major smoke from the forest fires in Montana but it is making other stuff difficult. DW and I are supposed to be canning dill pickles today but that is going to be difficult with the wind. There is no way I can get the canner to come to a boil with the propane burner in this wind 
We hired a 16 yr old neighbor kid to do work around here for the last 3 weeks. He cleaned out old gardens, painted fences, the barn and the front porch. He did an amazing job and worked really hard without a single complaint - the place looks the best it ever has. Why didn't we think of this years ago. I hate painting and DW is too busy in the garden during the summer so it just never gets done.

time for me to fall off a camel? nope, not for another week (Sept 10,11,12) Virginia city, Nevada might not be as good, new place, smaller arena. not liking the new so called promoter..... racing /falling on tailings from the gold mine. not the softest landings.

ok, stupid confession of the day (morning):
been driven nuts by machine beep. unable to locate but confined to basement. figured water softener system, unable to make stop or remediate. one month of this. did not like the water quality this month, called water service guy for appt/routine check up. had it with beeping, went down to mcGyver something. followed water line to system units. saw the unit I had been loading salt into, was not connected to new system.
what a maroon
looked at Scotty's LEGGS, rebooted my brain from the shock and awe....
