Thanks buddy - - - not been fun. Have more sympathy for Scotty Poo now. He has had some tough times. Trying the previous methods but so busy and not much chance to rest it. Been running like a Banshee since 6 this morning - - just sat down to reconnoiter and see what has happened in the world. At least the stock market was up a bit - - that is a pleasant change.

Gotta run - - early supper, then heading out to the beach for a sunset sing-a-long. Never gone to this one but several hundred people meet each Friday night - - so figured I would go see what is happening. Taking bro-in-law and his wife with us -- - see some nice Florida sunsets. Weather has been amazing - - mid 60's evenings and 78 - 82 days with low humidity. Wow, keep it up.

L8R - - - - Bob

I miss the Fla sunsets on the beach.....

Spent the day doing a "quick job" of mowing. Should have had it done by 2pm. Instead, the main drive belt started slipping on the pull behind. Quick trip to town, got the same size belt (had the size off the package of the old belt written on the deck). Nope, no way to put that 44 3/4 belt on. Went back and got a 46. It's on, but constantly engaged. Oh well, mow anyway. BAM! Where did that rock come from? 3 blades beat to crap, back to the shop. They are sharp and reinstalled, but I quit for the day.

Hope the Canada guys get away and not burned up.

Finally got a little rain last night. Not enough though. Won't be long before we burn down.

Our news is reporting that the Ft McMurray fire may double in size. Feel for our Brother's up North.

Spent the day wondering if there's something gonna happen to me, or my life.

Woke up as normal, went to make some breakfast, and was stared back at by my morning turkey bacon. I couldn't believe that it was staring at me. At first I though maybe I was drinking too much last night, but then I remembered that I only had 2 beers. Maybe the wife spiked my drink so she wouldn't have to have "wink wink, nudge nudge" with me ?

Oh well.

The day, so far, is uneventful.....

But not over..
