To the OP, make sure that pup has something to chew on at all times, otherwise the dog will find it's own chew toys.
It took our boarder collie only two days to learn to use the doggie door and get potty trained. When we got the Vizsla, it took her 4 MONTHS to finally learn to pee outside. She is very lovable but learns real slow. Like I said, box of rocks. I hope you have better luck with the potty training than I did.
I will not hesitate to get another Vizsla. Hands down, she is the best dog I have ever owned.
