The DTR ghost breakroom Mar 5 -11, 2017

Here it is, a new week and a new breakroom. Cleaned out the cobwebs and deep dust from the the old breakroom. Rinsed out the coffee pot with muriatic acid and power washed the ph00 pot in order to get rid of the solid stuff at the bottom. Assorted fresh cut fruit is ready. Someone else can bring some pancakes or apple fritters.

Boy, this place is getting more and more ghostly. Seems like the newer members are not the friendly or chatty types. Lat week I made a mistake (my only mistake last week ) and inadvertantly turned the weekly breakroom in a two week breakroom and not one person commented on it or made a correction. Strange!

Still wonderful weather down here in Paradise, but it being a typical March is occasionally quite windy. The morning wind is pretty cool, but by mid morning it is nice and warm again.

Still got too many things to do and my to-do list is somehow growing, even though I am scratching things off. How does this work?

Off to enjoy a coffee and may come back later and see if anybody visited.

Hey Bobby, at this rate it may be more than a couple months. -15° this AM in North paradise Stan. I decided to forego the thermos and put the coffee in ice trays. Instead of hot pastries, I brought in frozen ice cream bars.

Thanks Coug. Ice cream in any form or shape at any time of the year works for me.

Just had a delicious hot black bean and chili paste. Will share some with y'all. Here is the link to their site. It's all in Spanish, but there are pictures for those that are language challenged. Man, I love those things! The traditional meat and potatoes are to die for. Spicy too! The cost is 15 pesos or about .77 US$ each. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm hmmmm

It's race day running at the ATL finialy found all the body parts for my truck, wife wants to make some trips with the camper this spring before it goes in the paint shop for about six weeks.
By the time we make those trips and get a hand full of rides in on the sxs it will be to hot and kids will be out of school so it's a good time to do all of that.

Well back to the race latter

Evening all. Finally slowed down and ate something. Been going all day - - just pulled in the garage. And yes, I noticed you goofed up, but, being the nice guy that I am, I ignored it and went on. Of course, by that time, several others had followed your lead.

You need to check that URL above - - invalid website. Maybe my computer does not read Spanish. Price sounds good - - a tad cheaper than our favorite Mexican restaurant down here. For some reason, Mexican restaurants here are very expensive. Can't figure any argument for being that way.

Grabbed some ph00 and heading in to slow down a bit. L8R

Bob, checked that website and it opened just fine for me. Anybody else have any trouble opening it?

Went out for lunch today with friends at a really nice Mexican restaurant. Sat outside under the palm trees because it was such a gorgeous day. We all ate very well and the total cost for all 5 of us, including drinks came to about US$30. That is total, not each!
