axle truss

Any serious off road use should have the front axle housing trussed as that is really a weak link in these trucks. I didn't realize how important that is until starting to do the research for finishing up the suspension mods to my truck. It is very easy to bend and even break these front axle housings (AAM 9.5) as dodge cut corners here to save money.

Yup, and I would add bumpstops as well. The factory hard-rubber bumps are bad if you smack them really hard.

I didn't start pushing my truck off-road until I got both a truss and bumps up front.
