I talked to a guy that works at CAT today. What is everyones opinion for them hosting it? He said all they would be able to read is torque numbers though. I am also going to talk to the boys at Flash Auto.

You can calculate HP if you have torque and RPM. That's actually exactly what dynos do anyway, they measure the torque and RPM and calculate the HP. There really is no way to measure HP. If they gave us a sheet with the torque and RPM numbers, it would be VERY simple to graph the HP curve in Excel. Anyway, IF I am actually able to attend this event, I don't really care who hosts it. Where is the CAT facility?

so i am assuming that there machine does not have a OBD II port reader, or a crank speed sensor, wonder if that can be added to there machine.

i don't know. i am leaning towards flash though. theirs is in ground and they have a good sized parking lot and easy to get to.
