The tranny was performing awesome last night. No slippage, no stutter shifting, and no jerk shifts....Hit the road and it's a different story. The stutter is back and the jerk shift is still there. Conclusion is....She likes the power.

Nice runs! Those 13s are right there, just keep at it. Reaction time has no effect on the run's elapsed time, so a .500 reaction would net the same ET. It only matters when you're racing.

banshee you must not race much cause reaction time has everything to do with it...as soon as the green light comes on the clock starts so for him...his first one was a 1.31 reaction and 14.01 et..so he dropped that 1.31 to a .700that .61 of his et...meaning he would run a good mid 13.

an if it doesnt matter banshee try a solo run and when the light turns green sit there for 2 whole secs and see what your times are compared to 1 sec and the compare to a good .5 .6 or .7 reaction time!

Ah, negative. You can sit at the staging lights as long as you want after the light turns green and still run a 13 second ET. As a matter of fact, I have sat at the lights for 2-3 second long reaction times when trying to get launches just right, and the ETs are always in their normal range. The reaction time doesn't matter until you are racing when the lowest RT+ET will turn on the win light. In a solo run, though, the clock doesn't start until the vehicle moves.

Oh, and any of the NC DTR guys can vouch that I race more than just a little...

Dropped,

Banshee is the fastest handshaker I have ever seen. And he is absolutely correct. I was sleeping on the line trying to get the feel for how my truck brake stands. Time is time and once I launch is when the clock starts...that was from the pit crew....I appreciate the input, but Banshee is one of the few people I would not criticise about racing....his credits are HIGH!

Yup the man is right, you can sit there all day and as long as you don't cross the line, your time doesn't start. But yeah that truck has alot of kick to it, great job buddy. Keep practicin and you'll be in the 13s in no time. Prob next friday.....Im still suprised about my 14.26 with 37s lol she shot out of the hole quick! 8.6 1/8th mile, then she slowed down lol
