N.C. Dyno Day/Aftermath

Well, as usual, I had a great time yesterday! I promised everyone I would post all the dyno numbers and they are listed below. I listed the highest H.P./TQ. numbers from each persons runs.

I want to thank Jeff Creech, Andrew and the entire CAM Crew for letting us have this event there! My apologies to the guys that were not able to run due to the broken dyno; (BC-847, LMills, Jim Peter, Lary Ellis). I also want to thank my partner Phil for all his work in getting this event set-up, to all the people who brought food and drinks and to Chuck who again did a great job cooking all that food! Chuck,.........the hamburgers were delicious buddy!
Also, a big thanks to Lary Ellis (Top) and Rick (Totallyrad) for bringing all the items for the raffle. For those of you that missed this event, these guys brought some darn nice items including: Edge Juice w/Attitude, Quadzilla Module, DiPricol Gauges to name a few of them. As in past events, it was great to see old friends and meet new faces. My thanks to all of you that traveled some distance to get to the event, like Lloyd Mills and Jim Peters, Rick (Totallyrad), Mark (madhat), Lary Ellis (Top). Thank you guys very much for coming. Also,....it was great to finally see our one and only Founder and Webmaster, Jack Thorpe come out! My thanks also to Keegan Mabe (UnrulyNFS) for shooting all the video and pictures. Keegan,......it is great to have you back out at these events buddy! If I have forgotten anybody or anything I truly apologize!

Here are the dyno results for you guys in the order we ran:

NAME---------------------------TYPE TRUCK---------------H.P./TQ.-------

1.) McMopar--------------------98' Dodge CTD 12V---------480/1000------

2.) Floorman--------------------01' Dodge CTD 24V---------346/718--------

3.) BRUISER---------------------92' Dodge CTD 12V---------190/448-------

4.) Metalman--------------------01' Dodge CTD 24V---------514/1100------

5.) Mike D.----------------------99' Dodge CTD 24V---------571/-----------

6.) Adam3291-------------------99' Dodge CTD 24V---------217/507-------

7.) CaverDave------------------ 93' Dodge CTD 12V---------173/-----------

8.) 2141pete--------------------02' Dodge CTD 24V---------540/-----------

9.) dperf------------------------06' Dodge CTD CR----------760/1200------

10.) John_P---------------------96' Dodge CTD 12V---------866/1698------

11.) madhat---------------------04' Dodge CTD CR----------436/878 (#2)--
------------------------------------------------------------537/997 (NOS)

12.) 35"05'----------------------05' Dodge CTD CR-----------537/1049 (#2)
------------------------------------------------------------627/1173 NOS

Upon request by madhat (Mark) and Chet (35"05') we had some fun with their trucks and did a little "experiment" with an extra bottle of nitrous. We sprayed their trucks "manually" into the air intakes very lightly to show them and the attendees just what nitrous will do on these trucks!

As you can see from the dyno list above, on Marks (madhat) truck it ended up giving him an extra 101 H.P. and 119 ft.lbs. of torque!!

On Chets (35"05') he gained 90 H.P. and an extra 124 ft.lbs. of torque!! Pretty impressive to say the least and that was spraying pretty lightly too. My thanks to Lloyd Mills for all his help in getting this done. I would say Chet and Mark might have nitrous systems soon!!

Thanks again to all that attended!!

Yes John the Nitrous might be in the future Thanks again for bringin it buddy! I will have MANY Videos on one of these threads I'll post once uploaded. The Smarty DEFINATELY proved its stuff to me. Not used to seeing the rail screem past 25k. Kinda got scared and let out of it. Thanks again and it looks like we might be finding a new place next time since Jeff got a Little irritated with his black shop.

Chet:

You are very welcome buddy! I was glad to do it for you and Mark and even more pleased when I saw the "pleased and excited" looks on your faces after I told you what your trucks had run! I agree 100% with you on the Smarty Programmer. By far THE BEST thing I have done to my 06'!

As far as the black smoke and all, at least we tried with the rubber exhaust pipe and all. As I said above, my sincere apologies to the guys that did not get to run after the long drives down.

Hey John! No problem. As I mentioned in the other thread, maybe it just wasn't meant to be. LOL I guess it was just a tease for you to see the truck but not see it in action. Oh well, hopefully we can get together again sometime. Your a great bunch of guys down there.

Lloyd:

I just hated it for you and Jim after you guys traveled so far to come to our event buddy! We all know you guys would have "blown us all out of the water" with the H.P. and torque numbers both on your truck and I am sure on Jims too! But like I told you and Jim,....."I wouldn't have cared at all,.....just so long as the guy is NOT Wade!" Man,....we all LOVED that sticker on your tailgate Lloyd!!! Thanks for your nice comments and let me say you and Jim are both great guys too Lloyd!! I respect everything you guys have done and am happy for you on getting "Mid Atlantic" going!

Take care and thanks again to both of you for coming down!

I had a great time as well, John. It was worth the trip just to meet you guys and put a face with some of the names. Like Lloyd said, "maybe it just wasn't meant to be." Looking forward to seeing you guys again. Maybe some of you will make it for Spring Fling 08.
