Eastern NC Dyno/Drag race 12-13 Dec
Hello to All
I have great news we have the race track on the 13th of Dec. We also have a 2004 Dodge Diesel a 2004 Ford Diesel and a 2004 Chevy Diesel
This will tell us who has the HP and the Torque.
Here is the plan for the weekend.
12 Dec
3:00 pm. Start Dynoing trucks at Wayne's Dyno.
9:00 pm. Convoy into Jacksonville for a evening snack.
13 Dec
8:00 am. Start dyno runs, dyno runs will end at 5:00 pm.
12:00 Noon. Start running trucks down the race track in test/tune/FUN runs.
2:00 pm. Start the races.
For planning purposes if you could please post on this thread or send John_P or I a PM, we are looking for the following information.
1. Are you attending?
2. Are you racing?
3. Are you Dynoing?

2 dmaxes dynoing and dragging.one 6.0 doing the same and a 7.3 dynoing,hopefully a nother 6.0 and there are some guys on the dieselplace talking about coming as well il try to let you know...jess

I plan on being there on Saturday morning .... dyno only - no racing. I'm sure I'll get a trophey for lowest hp ;D, but just want to see where my mods have gotten me so far.

I'll be there camping. Although I haven't called the campground yet. : Chris is everybody still planning on staying at that one that you posted on? I will run the track, but not the rollers, unless we need more people on the rollers. Earlier I think there were supposed to be a bunch of folks doing the rollers. I will go either way. Let me know if I can do anything, or bring anything.

I'll be headed down that way as soon as I get off of work @ 1500-1600 on Friday afternoon. I should be getting to the campground around 2000-2100, so I might be able to make the "snack run" into Jacksonville. If not, I'll see ya'll at Waynes Saturday morning. I'll probably hang out there until folks head for the dragstrip and then tag along with them.
Looking forward to the weekend. I'll call the campground tomorrow.

Hello to all
The big event is coming on quick.
I was thinking today while at work that it sure would be nice if the White DRAG DIESEL TRUCK from down the Atlanta Ga. way would show up for your event, afterall we need someone to run against Doug and his Black shadow truck. I don't think that the Chevys will be able to keep up with that truck. ;D ;D
I best not talk like that or we will have someone show up in a ole Ford or Chevy or even a dump truck and run down the track in the 11s. 8) ;D
Leigh Ann has finished the flyer and I started passing them around in the local area.
Things are coming togather very nice so far and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Friday night we will decide on what we are doing for lunch on Saturday.
We have talked about this subject down here and figure that a Big grill and grill up hamburgers. If you have other thoughts please PM me and we will kick it around.

One week away and I can't wait! Hopefully I will be able to do a little tuning this next week prior to coming and that my headgasket doesn't decide to give out while I am down there.
In any event this is going to be a great weekend. How many guys are bringing their spouses or girlfriends? Reason I ask is mine is attending and it would be great for her to have someone to hang around and talk with about how crazy we are.......

jetpilot must admit i cant wait too see your dodge throw those huge numbers out,i know in the hp dept you have it wrapped up,i may have a little something for you on the track if you slip ,doubtful but maybe cant wait to see you there ....jess
