Obligitory New Guy thread.

Howdy.

New to the Dodge Cummins world but not new to diesels, had my first ol burner in the 80s, an old school cowboy Cadillac GMC 2wd crew cab dually with the incredibly sluggish 6.2 in front of a Turbo 400.
Just replaced the only brand new truck I've ever owned, a 1997 F-350 7.3 4x4 CC with the first Dodge I've ever owned, a 2007 3500 HD Quad Cab 4x4 dually with the 5.9 and a 6 speed manual. Found it in Idaho, a one-owner truck, always garaged, with 39042 on the clock when I bought it.
Hoping this will be my last truck, want to care for it correctly and modify it slightly to enhance towing..we haul a 35 ft. 5er.
I will be doing a lot of reading, asking a few questions now and then, and trying to not be a pain in the rear end.

The pic above was in the dealer's ad. Good people to deal with. Very happy with the truck, still smells new inside. Feel fortunate to have found it, was only looking seriously for a couple of weeks.

Man, that is a serious find! Welcome to the DTR.

Man, I'm jealous.

Thank you sir.

I knew I was looking for a unicorn and had been told by many friends I was wasting my time, there were none out there. I had to look at this thing many times, then called the dealer, and actually got the owner of the place on the phone (Small town Idaho dealer who still values honesty.)
Got the story, an armload of pics, and when they offered to bring it down to Salt Lake City we jumped on a plane.
I kid you not...it still smells new inside.
