96 Club Cab Pulling the 5er. Big Light Problems

1500 miles and 8 days into our road trip, no problems of any kind. Came through a bunch of Colorado mountains today, got to a good camp spot, unplugged the trailer to discover that I've lost brake lights and turn signals on the truck. Stepped on the brake pedal and operated the turn signal lever both ways. Nothing. No blown fuses anywhere. Scratching my head as to why I lost both. Suspecting the turn signal arm connection but why'd it take brake lights too? Any help is appreciated. H.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Surprised that nobody has come up with anything yet. Do the turn signals and parking lights work on the front? If they do, then just maybe a wire or a plug got ripped out near the back of the truck.

Hey Mexstan, thanks for the comment. Yeah, as always, ya want something done right you do it yourself. Went over everything, finally decided to re-check every fuse. Found the Hazard Lights 15A fuse popped. Would not have guessed that the turn signals and brake lights were on this circuit, but apparently they are.
I was hoping somebody here would know that and save me some time crawling all over the rig, but oh well. All's well that ends well. Had a great, safe trip. Thanks again, H.

I always turn on the hazards on my 96 when checking the trailer lights since they are on the same circuit. I would have told you to check the fuse BUT you said there were no blown fuses so I could only assume you checked that first....thus the reason I did not respond.

Wish I had now....
