Welded oil pan pin hole leak repair?
Alright,
When I swapped the VW diesel into the samurai I relocated the oil bung and MIG welded a patch over the area that I had cut the bung out of (this also provided clearance between the pan and axle)
I came up short on sealing all the pin holes in the welds. Only welded on the outside of the pan.
The leaks aren't significant, but still leaking nonetheless.
Pull the pan and re-weld? Paint the outside of the pan with with POR-15?
Do something else?
Suggestions on fixing this leak please....

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Drain the oil, clean around the leaks VERY well and smear on some JB Weld or JB Quik. Let it sit for 24 hours before adding any oil back into the engine.
Alternative; Drain and clean as above, but only add the minimum JB to seal the leak. Let it cure and then clean again to ensure that there is absolutely zero oil film anywhere, then spread more JB over everything and a larger area. Not only clean, but also sand to roughen up the surface.

Fill it to the valve cover with cheap engine oil, clean the weld area really well, re-weld overtop with a wide weave pattern, using a mig with .035 flux core wire. Make sure theres no leaks, drain the oil, refill to proper level with good oil. Sand, paint, drive away happy
