Sorry guys its been a while. Ive had a very busy summer of work and things are just starting to wind down. I got the cummins all torn down and the excursion is still waiting patiently... I ordered the rebuild kit about a week ago and it should be here tomorrow. Ill be sending the block off to the machine shop shortly. Go check the progress pics out @

I Got the Block back from the machine shop a few days ago and decided I wanted to paint it cummins red. So here ya go Ill be putting the cummins back together as soon as possible. (This week)

Started putting the cummins together with a few of my buddies. Got the crank, cam, pistons and rods installed and torqued down in a few hours.

The cummins is nearly all the way back together, my uncle is coming by this week and we hope to possible install the engine into the ford. All the conversion parts came in last week.

Hey guys,
more progress on the cummins in the last few days, got the injector lines re-installed valve covers painted ford blue, HX40 reclocked and reoriented, and i built myself a custom flange thing for my oil supply on the HX40. The original turbo on the cummins was an H1C, and for some odd reason the threads on the supply line were bigger than the threads on the HX40, so I had to weld a 3/8 fitting some steel plate. Today Im going to put the new adapter plate and flexplate on, and possibly crank it up today. We're getting closer and closer to having this thing done.

Any updates? I hope your project is going well. Ripped the 6.0 out of mine this past week. Waiting on the machine shop to get the engine finished and a few parts to ship to me. I'm pretty excited to put mine together.

Did you get your Ex going? I got mine together while on lay off, got called back to work now I am out of state. Still have a few minor detail items to do. Hope fully the picture will motivate you if you are not finished.

Hey guys, I know its been a while, but Im getting so close! This video is about a year old but it goes into a little more detail of the project. The cummins is in the truck now. I had my injection pump rebuilt but, I did have a problem with it though. I went to fire it up and nothin... took it off and took it to a diesel shop to see what was up and it turns out that the people that rebuilt it forgot a part or two. (never going there again), so anyways im gonna put the pump back on tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully she fires right up. Ill post more pictures soon. After almost 3 years of very slow work we are almost done.
