Really?, mine only puffs a small cloud on take off if i hammer on it, but other then that nothing. Mind ya i don't go any higher then the 100hp street tune. I from experience wont go any higher or i know ill toast my trans. Who did your tune ? I got mine from Phil at Anarchy, no complaints and great guy to deal with also.

Xtreme FX tuning out of Edmonton. Good guy to deal with but I got the sense that he was mostly a Duramax tuner.
My hottest tune is very ill-mannered, can't really use it at all. The bigger tow tune is quite smoky on takeoff, the kind of smoky that gives you a bad name in town. But it did make 484 hp...

Trans is great... shifts really firm and feels like I am hurting my tires all the time. Just got my CP3 upgrade, waiting on an Airdog, RP gauge and enough money to do the turbo and better tuning. And then I'll be needing head studs. And valve springs. And a manifold.

Talked to a buddy today, he has a 2nd gen type AFE manifold that he bought and never put on his truck and he says I can have it so that would be pretty sweet.

Nice free stuff is the best stuff. Cant say no to that lol..
Iam here 5 weeks at a time and home 5 weeks.. So it is a great gig for time off. I can plan ahead, and no break up or shut down time at all. I ordered some new rims and tires and they are waiting for me to get home here is a pic.

I waited long enough to get rubber, and for the price of 20" rubber i got these in an 18 for less haha.. I lucked out, i couldn't believe the price on 20" rubber now a days.. Next is TCM then a turbo swap with studs i think.. But not till next hitch and off.. If i can sneak it by the wife that is.. You still looking to get that Aurora 3000?

Yeah I know 20s are crazy. What size turbo are you looking at?
I'm pretty sure I'll be getting something a little bigger than the 3000. Either a 62/65/14 or 63/68/14

Well im on the fence due to the Exhaust brake, i love having it.. I was looking into the Cheetah VGT drop in turbo, Holset VGT Cheetah Turbocharger Fleece Performance Engineering, Inc.: Innovating Diesel Performance
but have seen mixed emotions on it.. Also seen good reviews on the 2nd gen swap S467 from fleece. 2nd Gen Swap Kit & S400 Turbocharger for 3rd Gen 6.7L Cummins (2007.5-2009) Fleece Performance Engineering, Inc.: Innovating Diesel Performance
But that one seems a bit pricey, i have time to research either anyway.. Just wish i had more concrete info for the VGT. I guess i could do a Ats 7500 twin set up also that uses the stock VGT and keeps the EB..

Installed my AirDog last night, seems to work well enough. Tried to do my Bag of Parts for the CP3 a while ago and stripped out the torx heads on the little bolts for the FCA so I'm not sure how I'm going to get that out.
