I was advised that due to liability they no longer allow for any adjustments w/parameter. I was advised on some of the older Rams they had a light haul button the center stack and you could reduce the rear pressure when not trailering but because of liability for those who do not air up on heavy loads, they removed it.... Anyone have a good work around please advise, my truck has the camper package and rides rough...
What's the year of your truck? The dealer is limited to what they can adjust, but the Autoenginuity Scan Tool can program perimeters that the dealer can't touch. For instance, I accidentally set the wrong fuel tank size when I was testing settings and the dealer couldn't set it back. Through trial and error, I was able to set it back to 34 gallons.

Check out this page on AE's website:
https://www.autoenginuity.com/produc...mily-ei04.html

It lists everything it can do on Chrysler vehicles.

The version of each module in the vehicle drives what can be modified or what tests can be ran on that particular module.

Edit: I've adjusted the TPM perimeters and know, at least on a 2010, I can program new sensors when they are replaced.

Mega Cab ..... My rig is a 2015. Interesting find and never thought about aftermarket scan tools. Will have to look into it. I would imagine aftermarket would be able to do such things as they are not as liable as the OEM. I swapped out my Firestones for BFG's and the ride is much better even with the high air psi. At least now the wife don't need to wear a sport bra to ride in my truck! LOL

That's funny! I see no reason to run that high of pressure in tires unless you are towing. I heard the 3500s don't come with the light load setting, but 1500s & 2500s do. Not sure how true that is regarding the 3500s. Unless I'm towing, I run 60 psi in the front and 50-55 psi in the rear. I'm on my second set of tires; original lasted 75K miles.

Definitely give the aftermarket scan tools a shot.
