moisture inside cab

2011 quad cab with 102,000 miles. I leave it parked 4-6 days when I am on the road for work. I noticed now that it's cold out, when I get home I have frost on the inside of the windshield and the front windows. takes a good 20 minutes with the defroster going to clear the windshield. never seen this on a vehicle before.

I would guess you're a victim of the rear cab cargo / 3rd brake light leak. I'd bet your carpet is holding the moisture, then a humid condition gets present inside, then freezing on your windshield.

I just worked through the same issue. Not only was the 3rd brake light leaking but the power window had been replaced before I got the truck and the drains were damaged. Window replaced and the issue is resolved. Now to get it dried out.
