Is it normal?

Like the title says.... is it normal for dually's to come standard with TPMS deleted from the factory? All the ones I looked at are missing that "feature", or are listed on the build sheet as tpms delete. Still pretty new to the diesel world, thanks.

DRW's have TPIS....Tire Pressure Information System.

Trucks 10,000 GVWR and under have TPMS.

TPIS simply displays pressures.....and never "nags" when the pressures get low as there's no "threshold" for low pressures.

Thanks, wondered why the build sheet said TPMS delete.

in my opinion, that's a good thing. adjusting tire pressure according to load is what i have done all my adult life....i don't need a computer telling me what my tp should be! i have removed the tp sensors from my nissan altima, no problems

I agree with johnh....I check my tires all the time, I was raised that way and don't trust crappy foreign electronics from the lowest bidder to tell me my tire pressure.
