chrome or pvd

I want shiny wheels! I had a set of fuel hostage, chrome...they were ruined in less than 1 year. I thought pvd was the solution, and was about to order a set of fuel maverick in pvd, untill today when a wheel supplier told me that fuel was having issues with their pvd and could not order anymore. I saw other posts on the internet about people having issues with pvd...they didn't say what brand.

So...what is the deal with pvd? Is it good or bad.

Who makes a wheel that will hold up?!?!?!!?!?!

I think its funny that oem chrome holds up for 10+years, but aftermarket can't get past a year!

OEM holds up because it is chromed plastic. Some people whine about it but it works.

Sounds like something that would require penicillin, Clorox, an SOS pad, and lots of scrubbing to make go away.....
