I have an 08 megacab slt with no fog light but there is the harness. First thing, I bought some fog light bezels for my bumper on Amazon and they are Chinese garbage. Does anyone know where to get some OEM trim rings or know of a place that sells good quality ones? I'm throwing these ones away that was a waste.

Second, if I buy a stock headlight switch w/ fogs, is it a simple plug n play replacement? Is the other end of the fog light harness just up under the dash to plug into the new switch or does the existing harness already have the wiring in it? I have Cree LED lights I got from eBay.

I have a 2005 with a Ranch Hand bumper replacement and I took out the factory fog lights last month so getting to the wiring harness was easy. I replaced them with a pair of black oak 4x10w led flood pods. The Black Oak led's come with another type of harness and wiring kit so I just got a 9006 adapter, cut off the other end, used waterproof crimps, and hooked up the leds to the factory harness.

Worked like a charm and the leds put out way more light than the headlights. So far I haven't been flashed by oncoming cars in the month I've been driving. I'll put some pics up soon.

I wired my fog lights so they are on all the time, when the ignition switch is on, and act as running lights.
