hey all, new guy here, bought a 09 ram 2500, 6.7, has already been straight piped, dpf/egr removed (sinister diesel) cold air intake, had no real issues other then getting the DPF FULL message and chimes every 10-15 mins, bought me a smarty S67, loaded up the current software, immediatly got CEL for everything that was removed/disconnected, and NO DPF alarms, now i can live the the CEL being on.
on a trip up north, after an hour on the road, i get a dpf at 80%, half hour later it's at 90% and after that, says full, reduced power......nothing i've done has changed this situation, reload the stock tune, tried the brake/gas pedal reset, disconnected the battiries for an hour, reloaded the smarty tune......on the plus side, i did get almost 21 mpg the rest of that trip running 75-80 mph.....
so i think i need to run some older software that isn't "emmision legal"
any ideas? and thanks in advance

First thing to check is the serial number on the tuner. If it has "US" in the serial number then it is a US emissions legal tuner and cannot load delete tuning.
If it has "P" or "A" in the serial number then you've most likely loaded the emissions legal tuning from Mads site by mistake. There are no ME or delete tunes on Mads site and all the available tunes there are clearly marked in bold, red type as emissions legal tunes. Emissions legal tunes are exactly that, tuning for emissions legal vehicles.

yessir! it's got the "A" in the SN, and i did find an older set of tunes, got lucky with the 1st one I tried....CEL gone, PDF FULL/power reduced gone, initially set it at #3, **** near broke my neck 1st time I went WOT!, set it down to #1, still very strong.
