Help... P00AF code

Who has this code before or know what to do to fix it. Truck has deletes done, h&s tune I was told when bought it. Get a see dealer service required in upper display since we bought it. P00AF just came on the other day, deleted codes and 3 trips later P00AF came back, only code showing with key cycle code retrieval. 2007 6.7 liter 3500 auto.

It's a turbo actuator code.
Check for other codes using ab good code reader. If there's others then repair them and see if the code returns.
Check the connector at the actuator for loose or dirty pins. Clean everything up real good and use some dielectric grease to protect them. Again, see if the code comes back. If so then you need to replace the actuator.
Problem is the dealer doesn't replace actuators anymore because they can't calibrate them. (The csoftware is no longer available to them)

Some users have sent their turbo to these guys: Majestic Turbo Waco in Waco, TX.
They can replace the actuato and calibrate it too.
You may be able to replace it yourself and send it to them for calibration but check first.

Did you fix your problem?

I had this code come up about 3 weeks ago. It has gone on and off every day or so since. Took it to the dealer and 2 independent diesel shops and neither can actually tell me the issue. They all want to just replace my turbo for $4,500. Truck runs fine, no power loss. Exhaust brake works as well. I was thinking about having the turbo cleaned but that's still expensive and could just be wasted money. I was curious if you found a solution for your p00af code that could help me???

Didn't fix it yet, however I did take it to independent service guy that said actuator is bad... So need new actuator or turbo.
