Can't hear the turbo...make it sing
I had a 5.9 and made a *****'s Whistler for it. That turbo sang like crazy...sounded great.
Now I have a 2008 6.7. Is there an intake I can get that will make it so I can hear the turbo?

I added S&B CAI and it sounds nice and can hear the turbo without it being too noisy. There is a plastic baffle in the intake tube as well that be removed and the CAI system replaces all that anyway. I don't suggest doing anything more than a good CAI.

I kept the stock air intake system but took out the baffle and diffuser in it. Napa gold drop in filter. Not as loud as an S&B but I can hear the turbo. Had an S&B on my 2nd hen and loved it.

Straight pipe it. And run a programmer that runs deletes and add just a cone filter to the turbo inlet like you see race Rigs do. Pull the silencer ring (drill it out) and it'll sing close to a fords whistle
