Traction bars-anybody using CalTracs?

Caltracs are cheaper and get the job done.
GDP is better, but perhaps marginally so... you have to decide if the cost is worth it.
GDP type bars work more reliably in a variety of situations. Caltracs less so. That statement does not infer that Caltracs are an "inferior" product. They are in fact a good product. Just not as good in every situation as a good set of bars.
I use LazarSmith drag bars and have for a number of years. Awesome product.
On edit, I want to mention that the ride firmed up a little after putting in the bars and with the LazarSmith ones, you can dial in the amount of preload that affects this. It firmed up, but not in a bad way. More like going from a soft touring suspension to more of a sport suspension. It also helped in sway as well. After installing sulastic shackles and Bilsteins, I feel the ride is now better than stock.

Got the cal tracs they didn't solve my launch bounce and bucking when I try to get camper moving. They are noisy as hell un loaded they rattle and pop. You can watch the tailgate bounce up when you leave a light. I can't see the clutch transfer that much hop to the rear end. Truck is a bucking horse to back up.
