Stainless Steel Injector Body
I heard recently Bosch release these, b/c of a the injector failures. Anbody running them or have more info on them? Are they actually stoping the failures?

yes, they are the newest style and supersede the previous design. So, any injectors bought new from bosch are the new ss bodies. They are supposed to hold up a lot better to the pressure spikes, but still have the other normal weaknesses with the seats etc.

Lloyd is correct, the Stainless injectors still suffer seat damage and water damage. The only part of the injector that was changed to stainless is the body. All the internals are normal tool steel. We have already had to rebuild a few of the SS injectors. Including the SS 6.7 liter injectors in that list.
Most of the SS stuff is getting into the dist. system now. 6months ago, they were somewhat rare.
Either injector is good. The SS was done to help prevent cracks in the bodies from pressure. I have not received a cracked SS body yet. Time will tell.
