What's the difference in rail pressure vs fuel pressure?

Rail pressure is the high pressure fueling system. Said pressure is built by the high pressure fuel pump the CP3. The CP3 feeds the fuel rail and injectors with high pressure fuel. Starting RP is between 5000 and 7000 psi. Max rail pressure stock is around 23,000-24,000 psi. Fuel pressure is the Lift Pump (LP) pressure. This is supplied by the LP to the CP3 and is at low pressure, around 8-10 psi stock.
Monitoring each one helps in diagnosing issues. In a Stock truck fuel pressure will do.
