dually spacers
anyone have a link to the company that makes the spacers that would allow me to put bigger tires on my dually
I think the company I saw was in texas
they make everything up to 2" spacers
I want to put 285's on
anyone done it?

http://correctrack.com makes some. they are steel iirc. if you pickup a sport truck mag or a truckin' mag, you will find vender ad's that sell spacers/adapters too [i've seen pictures from 8 lug to 10 lug in there too]

did you have to machine out the center hole on the outside duals so they would be hub centered on the spacer?
we have hub centering wheels on these duallys
just wondering how people are making the outside duals centering so you dont have vibration and other problems
no one seems to want to touch this one??????

My spacers are hubcentric spacers. I did't have to bore out the center of the outside duals, those are made specifically for 03+ Dodge duallys. I changed my front wheels because I don't like the wimpy stance the 6" dually tires and the skinny look of the front of my truck. I've had these on here for over a year and 35+ k miles, no problems.
I am in the process of trying to swap over to SRW from DRW.... If I can find a replacement bed.. If not, I'll just sell my wheels and fenders. anyone interested in spare dually fenders? I'll let them go pretty cheap. I think they're over $450 each new, I'll let both go for $450 + you pay shipping.

I really would like to know where you got them (the spacers)
the guy I talked to last week wouldnt sell me any without assuring him I would bore out the outside duals for a centering shoulder on the spacer
maybe you want to sell me yours

i have spacers on my 03 dually, i am running 315/70/17 bfg ( the hummer tires)
i got the spacers from performance wheel, in sheridan colorado.
i ordered the 2-1/2", but could have gotten away with 2" with no problem.
mine are aluminum, and i bought the spacers and new lug nuts from them, then went to the tire shop and had them install them. i now have 20k on the spacers/ tires and not having any problems, except initially trying to find out what pressure to run them at.
i have a new camera being ups'ed to me this week, so i will have some pics up asap.

The tires I'm running are 285X70X17, they are about 33.3 X 11.5 ". They run awesome, these are a bit worn, I think they are pushing 40+K miles on two different trucks already. The only thing I can complain about is after they get worn down to were mine is, they get rough and loud. But other than that, these tire are IT! I use my truck off road alot, that is one reason I got rid of those darn front dually wheels that stick out, I kept break those classy-way-too expensive plastic simulators on rocks and stumps.....
Can't find a SRW bed right now, so I think I'm going with a 6" lift and some 37's..... I guess well see....got a couple of grand burning a hole in my pocket!
