Guys sorry for this post, I just don't know where to turn for a possible answer... The Hemi forums don't seem to know anything about this type of muffler. I know it's not a diesel and will delete it in a day or so to keep the clutter down...

My dad just bought a 06 Mega 5.7hemi (couldn't afford a CTD), anyway the truck has a flo-pro 40series muffler and dual exhaust... while it sounds nice for a hot-rodder, it's WAY louder then he wants. We talked about exhaust options and he's leaning towards going back to stock, but then I thought about what a 51" Nelson or Donaldson would sound like but still allow decent flow...

So has anyone heard a hemi with one of these (our) mufflers? Quite and flow is his goal, that things a pig on fuel so we don't want to choke it too much...

They are so cheap you could easily try it. You have a lot less air flowing through a Hemi exhaust because you don't have the turbo. Should be fine.
