My truck recently developed vibration near front of motor, sounds like the fan shroud.
With the engine off the fan blades are not touching and all seems tight. It runs great except for the vibration. I'm guessing a bearing, fan clutch, or water pump failing.
Any suggestions?

Maybe check the fan belt tensioner pulley?

My 2006 developed this vibration at 90000 miles. And we all know about hindsight. At the same time I heard the vibrating now I think back on it I also remember loosing my brake retarder.
So I took my serpentine belt off looking for no vibration when restarted and she ran smooth. All pulleys and bearings were tight. With belt back on, fired her back up and put large screw driver against various belt drives and vacuum pump made the most noise.
I ordered a remanufactured as Dodge wanted 825.00. Came in this week. Loosened belt and installed, life is good again.
