2008 OEM lift pump replaced /no fuel at filterhousing
I have bumped starter after replacing in tank fuel module and left on run for several seconds over and over with nothing running out of filter housing.
After cycling there is a puff of vapor coming down from filter housing out of pressure line. 2008 C&C 3500 DRW with rear tank. Im expecting the pump to run it up to filter at least. Is it because the pump line isn't full yet ? Before I dug the pump out it ran and started perfect except I was getting a ding ding overhead warning SERVICE REQUIRED/SEE DEALER NOW,(no codes)then limp mode. I wanted to make sure it wasnt the pump being weak so I replaced with a new OEM frm Napa.
