Transmission Throttle Velve Actuactor
I need to change the Transmission Throttle Valve Actuator on my 05'. Does anyone of you know where its mounted on the side of Trans. I'm told is two bolts and a plug.

Ive never personally changed one, but a co-worker did.
It is bolted to the driver side of the tranny, and I believe it is only 2-3 bolts and an electrical connector. It lifts up off a linkage that extends through the trans case just above the pan. The TVA itself is a fairly big ugly looking thing.
My co-worker just bolted the new one on and was good to go-easy job. We took the old one apart and there is a plastic gear inside that strips the teeth off rendering it useless.
good luck
