repair fan clutch wiring?
anyone repair the wiring for the fan clutch? Mines broken at the clutch end very close to the connector. Emailed Hayden. Anyone dissect the clutch? A/C not working since all wires are cut to clutch. Thanks!

Repair kit part# ?
Thanks for the reply, do you remember if the Mopar kit was to fix the bottom or top end of the harness, hub or ecm end? Hayden replied they do not sell the harness. Part # ? Thanks!

Mopar connector site
Found Mopar Connection Repair Kit
and it lists #68052582AA as a kit and looks like the connector @ the bottom by the ECM. And they are too pricey ($58), would rather attempt to repair wiring.
Thanks!

Purchased new fan clutch. Tried three auto stores for the 36 mm fan wrench, all too loose. Purchased the Craftsman Kit, new, and on 1st try the wrench slipped and rounded off the nut...argh. Tool opening measures 36 mm on one side and 37 mm on the opposite side, opening is tapered?? Reluctant to use air chisel, will it damage water pump? 123K miles on original pump.

Purchased Lisle air chisel set. replaced fan clutch. New clutch works great. A/C still fubar. tried the battery trick on the switch and compressor did not turn on. Ordered pressure switch and compressor.

Pull the connector off of the pressure switch and jumper it out with a piece of a paper clip. If switch is bad, the jumper will prove that by allowing the compressor to run. I use this trick to charge a low system where the charge is too low to allow compressor to operate.

Jumper pins 2 & 3?
Tried putting 1.5V between pins 1 (ground) and pin 3 (+ positive) and clutch did not respond. Are you saying jumper pin 2 (5V supply) and Pin 3 (pressure signal)?

Usually when a compressor goes bad you have to replace the orifice tube and dryer assembly together with the compressor. Make sure flash clean the WHOLE system.
If clutch is bad and compressor is good you can just do the clutch.
