Need a bunch of repairs done...need help on parts

So I bought this truck knowing there were a few things that needed to be done, I have a detailed inspection from the dealership. Here is a list of the following repairs that need to be done:
Prices are parts and labour:

Ball Joints 930.00
Front Axle U-joints 306.00
Steering Dampner 253.00
Tie Rod End and Pitman 133.00
Alignment 90.00
Rear Drive Shaft U-Joints 250.00
4x4 Driveline Service 365.99
Trans Silencer Shield 383.00

Now obviously these prices are fairly high. Unfortunately I'm not mechanically inclined, however I would like to buy the parts myself which will save me some money. As well as find a private mechanic to save some more money as opposed to the dealership.

I would like to buy the best parts that will prevent me from having to do future maintenance (greasable u-joints etc.) Which parts should I buy? Any other advice?

if grouped into jobs that are related that will save $$ im guessing that was all quoted as individual jobs.
ie: do ball joints, axle ujoints, tie rod ends and alighnmet at the same time
steering dampener... 250!! are you kidding me! $50 part, 15 min with hand tools... my 4 year old could do this one.
drive shaft u/joints, for that price you could replace both with new! good joints will run about $25-50 ea tops!
trans silencer shield???? huh?? lost me on that one. if its the inspection cover , its like 15 min job...

Ball joints and the Axle joints are done together (parts costs for both is about $350-$500)
4x4 driveline service is a joke...you can do that for under 100 bucks....basically fluid changes.
All 3 aftermarket U joints for the rear should be under $100 and greasable to boot.
