front diff, locker/limited slip ?
#2
Both will work. The locker is the best. However - you don't watn to use a locker on the front end on the highway. If you plan on using the turck in 4wd on pavement I would not put a locker on the front end. It will be very difficult to steer and would put enormous strain on other driveline parts. On my 96 tacoma i have a detroit locker on the rear and a detroit tru-trac clutchless posi traction on the front. Evenwith the rear locker it operates like an ATV on the road.

Flip a switch locked - flip it back unlocked. Next best thing I could find to the Power Wagon Tracrite EL. It took a month or so of searching.
