How about that exhaust system. All it needs is a row of tin cans on the end. . I wonder how long it will take new owners to yank that system and go with a staight pipe.

Take a look at slides:
23 - 120K mile particulate filter 'service'??? What service? How 'bout just calling it what it is - replacement (unless I'm completely off base here). How much does one of those filters cost???
39 - the 'Cab-Off' procedure is part of the first training they need to take. And web-based to boot... Something tells me that they're assuming any 'serious' work is going to require removing the cab, just like on the 6.0's
43 and 44 - they're gearing up for the identification of issues with customers, especially high mileage fleets... Sorry, but I'd think that they should've been their own 'high mileage fleet' during their testing, correct?
As far as the gauges are concerned, I don't think that dashboard has any more or less gauges than they did before. It looks like coolant temp, oil pressure, volts, and fuel, along with tach and speedo of course. Maybe that screen looking space below the four gauges is an information center or something. Wonder what info that displays? Didn't they have an auto tranny temp gauge last year?

OK- - -I just read every word in that PDF file and WOW would it really suck to know that you would be responsible for fixing that beast. I really like the way the truck is laid out. The headlights are my only flaw with the truck besides the engine. They are going to have SOOOOOOOO many problems with that engine that the POWERSTROKE logo will dissappear on the FORDS in a couple more years. I can see a new engine (in-line 6 in Fords Future)! Simple is better.

Did anybody check out where the fuel rail is located on that engine...... inside the valve cover! not a good thing....... even the rail pressure sensor is in there also. the DPF are cleanable and dont have to be replaced.

I must admit that the truck on the outside and inside looks GOOD. The engine, while a nightmare to work on, makes 650 LB.FT and 370HP!!
Other than that, I do wish Dodge would have the brake controls and a little better interior. If I could have the Dodge with the King Ranch interior, I would be one happy camper

I don't really dig anything about the truck itself, but you have to admit that new engine took a little engineering. Given their track record I don't expect the next Cummins, but I am anxious to see how well it does.
