electrical problem 08 6.7?
I have a 2008 Ram 2500 6.7. Have seen a no buS or no bu5 in the odometer space while driving today. Also all lights idiot lights flash on and off as well as headlights and fog lights come on with light switch in off positon and speedo and tach zero out while driving. What does this mean? Have also experienced intermittent hesitation while accellerating. Do I have a Demon aboard? Any ideas where to look? I called local dealer today and they gave me earliest appt. for next Tues. I drive this thing daily, HELP.

witech has a test for the p2262 code make sure to tell them before codes erased or it can be done most likely. "P2262 Fault Diagnostic Test".

Verify the ECM has been updated to the latest flash. For 2007 Model Year trucks the ECM part number must end with the letters "AX" or later. For 2008 Model Year trucks the ECM part number must end with the letters "AO" or later. When performing the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures for this condition (reference TSB 18-013-08). Make certain to remove and thoroughly CLEAN BOTH OXYGEN SENSORS using a clean cloth and compressed air. Do not use any type of liquid cleaner to clean the oxygen sensor tips. Use compressed air to remove all soot from the oxygen sensor tip that is inside (under) the metal shield/cover. Blow compressed air into the center hole of the sensor shield to remove soot from the sensor tip. Ensure all soot has been removed from the sensor tip (inside the shield) and on the outside of the sensor tip shield.

Dealer says they found problem, TIP module has gotten moisture and corrosion in it. They have to order one, takes 2 days to get it they will install it next week. What is a TIP module and what does it do?

Totally Intergrated Power Module
Its the new style fuse box / relay panel that is all in one, overly complicated, and ridiculously expensive.

Some parts are cheaper then you'd expect yet others are just stupidly priced.

Sounds like your washing off your engine and leaving the TIPM cover not latched down properly. There is o-ring seal and if not properly latched you will fill the tipm with water. Water and electrical connections do not mix

Never had the cover open, they claim water had gotten up in it from bottom and caused the problem. They haven't told me a price and I have a lifetime extended service plan that we believe is going to cover the cost., we'll see.
