I just replaced the originals on my mega at 175K miles. I had about the same on my 2002 CTD when I replaced them. Better have an acetylene torch and a ball joint press handy, (and a good pair of insulated welding gloves).

194,000 on mine. I sent my driveshaft out while I rebuilt the engine. Had a driveline shop change the u joints, center bearing and balance the whole unit. That took care of my little aggravating vibration.

I had very poor luck on all of mine. I had a failure of the center ball joint twice before 40k miles. I found that the drive shaft angle was way off. I ended up spacing the center bearing 1" down and that solved that problem. All the others, including the front axle joints failed before 90k miles. I replaced all with high quality joints with grease fittings. I grease every 6 mos. So far, so good.
