Suspension fatigue

I've run into an issue. I've experienced an almost uncontrollable front end bouncing when I hit a bad spot in the pavement. Not always but enough to make me believe my suspension has failed. I've also gone through front shocks, 2 pair in the last year. A set of Rancho 5600 and now a set of Billistens installed in January of 17. I tow a lot but wonder if I'm missing something. Thinking replacing all 4 springs but figured someone has tackled this before. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Sounds like "death wobble". Do a search for death wobble and prepare to do a lot of reading. Track bar, ball joints, any loose or worn suspension components.

Yep, you now know what death wobble feels like.

As stated, can be a myriad of things, also you might not have enough Caster dialed in.

I also find it more when I am at the end of the life of my tires......

Sounds like caster is set too negative, and/or some steering/suspension components are worn out.

Thanks for both responses. The tires have close to 50K on them. I'll get them rotated one more time and have the front alignment checked. I replaced most of the obviously worn parts, but will see after the front end check.. I'm also going to get the suspension checked to see if there is any failure there. "Death Wobble" hummm!!! Will look it up.Thanks again

I've been to 2 front end shops and both say the front is still in good shape. Many parts were replaced in Sept. 2016. The tire rotation changed the dynamics so I'm getting 6 new tires soon. With 55 K on these I got my money from them. I also have a steering box stabilizer arriving tomorrow. Will install that then off for more tires. Thanks to all, I hope it's that simple

You have an alignment problem. Ask around and find a shop with a seasoned alignment guy: he probly smokes, is graying or bald, is a veteran and thinks the country has gone to hell.
If he drives a second gen Dodge, he'll get it right....shocks aren't the problem here...
