Flatbed build
I blew a rear tire and it ate my truck bed, so I took the money I would have used to repair it and put it into steel and aluminum. My truck weighs in now at close to 7000 lbs so I am about 500 lbs lighter than with the old stock bed. I have about two grand in it. I really wanted to keep the lines of the bed in the same style as the truck and I think I did. The steel is powder coated. I have a B&W turnover ball in the bed. It has two tool boxes mounted under the bed. My fass pump is in one of them. It was a lot of work figuring everything out, but I get a lot of compliments and that is fun. I like it. I think it is a lot better than a stock bed. I have been using it now for over a year and I can not think of anything I would change on it. It is a great flatbed!
