dually rim interchange

Now that I rebuilt the front end I am probly on my last possible tire rotation for this set

I want to go up to 17" budd wheels, what fits? Does ford fit? Chevy? what years? Newer ford seems easy to find

And what size tires can I use, I tow so filling out the wheel wells would be nice but I am not lifting the truck, I am talking all season type e rated or better truck tires

Just can't stand these dodge rims with the little holes, hard to check air even with extensions

Tried search but guess I am not good at key words

Talking plain steel factory budd no alum or aftermarket

Unfortunately ford switched the bolt pattern in the Super duty line around 01 and Chevy did too around 03-04 IIRC. I bet patdaly knows for sure.

dodge has retained the original spacing that was the norm over the previous years. Budd wheels are nice. I think that is a good choice. 17"ers should allow you to upgrade to 3rd gen calipers and rotors for a better bite if you are so inclined...you will need the caliper brackets too, but worth it I hear....

Dodge or earlier 8 on 7.5"???? Can't remember if this is correct pattern, but pre 2001 I think all big three used the same 8 lug pattern...

That sounds right...8 on 6.5"....so looks like you need the hub centered version or you will need to replace the studs and lugs...

What a PIA!!
