Question Drive shaft compatibility

Since my 2 driveshafts are rather worn and ugly on my 98.5 24V Std Cab long bed and I can get a set of driveshafts from a 99 QC short bed for free I need to know if I can just use them or if there are major differences.
I know that the QC SB has about an 10" longer wheelbase than my truck.
So, is the front drive shaft the same length? Are they all the same? Will they just work or ??

Thanks in advance!

Markus

If they're free then get them and start measuring and comparing. There's too many drivetrain differences to say what will work for you but you should know right away if they'll fit without changes. You may need to take them to a driveline shop and have them altered.
