Re:A couple dually questions

Oh boy, now you did it! I didnt know a Jake Brake was available for these trucks Yet another benefit over my Ford (they dont make them for Fords). Now, you are talking about an actual Jake Brake right? Not just a regular exhaust brake? I know a lot of folks call them the same thing despite the major differance. Not trying to degrade you or question your knowlage, I just wanted to make sure before I get all excited about it!

You gotta tell me about it. Where can I get some info on it and maybe some prices too?

Re:A couple dually questions

BJK,
Jacobs does make a brake for the Dodge/Cummins, but I believe that it is an exhaust brake, not a true "Jake" engine brake like the big rigs. I've included a pic of my rig so that you can see what I've done. You can see in my sig what mods I have. If I can answer any other questions, feel free to IM or e-mail.

DeWain

DPG, N I C E! How did you level yours out? I put those "Velvet Rides" on mine and the rear dropped a tad but another 1 1/2" would make it perfect.

Mike

sixtogo:

I didn't do anything special to the truck, I think it's just the 4x2 configuration. Also, the stainless running boards and air dam help give it the lowered look. It has stock suspension, with the camper and towing pkgs. It also has Rancho 9000 shocks.

Do you like the Velvet Rides? Do they help smooth things out when you are running solo?

Hey DPG, that truck looks awful familiar.

You get that off Carl? If so, you got a strong rig there.
