Blend door vacuum line routing through firewall?

Defrost only mode this AM, figured it was the vacuum line connection behind the pump. No, all good there. Traced the line up to the firewall. Appears to have failed right where it passes through the firewall, looks like it broke clean off at that point. Can't see a tail sticking out anywhere. Looks like it might be routed where the refrig lines pass through. Hope to get a better look at it this evening when I get home from work.

Thanks,
Neal

That's very common, if it has sheared off just at the firewall you may be able to poke enough more line through the fire wall so you could hook up to that. If not just poke a new piece through from under the hood an do the splice inside. The vacuum line does go through with the AC refer lines.

It's a 2001.5.

Added and enable sig

Sig should appear now. Going to look at this tomorrow. Odd the soft vacuum line runs with the refrig lines. Have to look under the dash and see where the blend door actuator is located. Leaning towards using a short length of hard line to pass through the firewall for the repair.

Thanks,
Neal
