I just took my 2010 RAM 2500 diesel VIN to the dealer and he decided I had the following spring-pack part number: 68050357AB, there were others for the 2500.
Then I asked to look up the numbers for a 3500, there were a few:
4670947AA
68049049AA
4670950AA
68049050AA
But he couldn’t tell me what the differences were. But presumably since the BASE 3500 has a GVWR of 10,100 either of these springs should deliver that.
Anyone know of a way to lookup the description on these springs?
Does anyone have a base 3500 where they can call the dealer with a VIN and get the spring pack number?

Does your truck have the rear sway bar? That's an easy way to tell if it has the 3500 springs....

Just looked, no sway bar – which model has a rear sway bar?

I also found a REAL easy way to find the part number of my springs, read the stamped number on the underside of the bottom leaf.
(I need to roll under there more often, it's a beautiful thing.)

But what I’d REALLY like is spring spec’s, showing the different numbers and the different characteristics.

The 2500s with the camper package got the 3500 springs and a rear sway bar. In other words, if you don't have the sway bar you don't have the 3500 springs unless someone changed them or took off the bar....

Does that apply to the newer trucks? I thought that none of the 3rd gen's came with a rear sway bar, that was a 2nd gen thing.

Ah, I see.
Yes, I’m sure I don’t have the campers package, I didn’t add that option when I ordered the truck. I was pretty careful to get nearly every option, I don’t remember that being an option on the 2500, we went over it several times. Maybe that’s a special add-on by request?
Is the camper’s package supposed to increase GVWR, or just stabilize the ride and reduce sway?

All of the 3/4 ton trucks came rated from Dodge at 8800 lbs GVWR. Even the gasers with a D70. Dodge was lazy & didn't uprate the trucks according to the options installed.

I don't think all Dodges came with the 8800 GVW, because its was hard to find a lowering kit for my truck since the leaf springs are wider I think then a regular 2500. My truck is a 8800 GVW with sway bar and overloads.

I think most trucks were 7600lbs. or something like that. The camper package was available on the 2001's for sure, because I got it. I would bet that if you have a rear sway bar, you have the 8800lb gross weight and 3500 springs. I've put a ton in the bed and the truck doesn't sink but an inch or so. I don't think the 3rd gens had that option and I know that my 2011 doesn't, but it's at 10,100 GVW SRW anyway and will be able to pull 16,800lbs with a GCVW of 24K. Sweet....

I had a 99' with a 360 & auto, and it was rated at 8800 lb GVWR. Had a D70 or D60 under the rear, and no overloads. My 01' has overloads, a cummins/6speed manual, and a D80 rear with overloads. Still rated at 8800 lbs GVWR. in 2001 & 2002 Dodge didn't build a 1 ton SRW. I was told the 3/4 with camper package & manual trans was as close as you could get. When Dodge did build a 1 ton SRW in 2003 they rated it for 9900 lb GVWR. Still had a D80 under the rear.
