what are these codes ?

Ok I recently bought a 99 24 valve with auto and 159000 on it recently it would turn over but would not start after I came back in the house and went back out it fired up fine fuel pressure is 18 to ,19 psi ideling also the rpms went to 0 going down road and engine light came on I hooked up scanner to find several codes one was for the crank sensor which I changed didn't have a problem for a couple days today when I started it it reved all the way up and died then it fired right back up normal here are the other codes it has

P 1691 injection pump calibration error
P1693 mil fault in companion mode
P0 382 intake heater relay #2
Would like to no really what the first 2 codes mean

Does this truck has any timing/fueling box on it? The codes you listed could be very specific to their listed problem or its not completely unheard of that your real issue is an electrical problem causing phantom issues. The ISB is completely electronically controlled and needs all electronics, batteries, cables, and grounds to be in perfect condition otherwise it can cause strange issues. If you have a box then remove it. Clear the codes. Load test the batteries off the truck, test the output of the alternator, check out closely the battery cables, your VP connections, and major engine grounds. Check the heater relays too just to be sure they're not causing problems too. Then put everything back together and see if it changes anything. High corrosion areas are obviously more susceptible.

look for a loose power or ground connection to the injection pump, or a bad fuel injection pump relay.
