no lift pump
Changed my fuel filter today and did not hear lift pump activate when turned on key . Bump starter and after a couple of seconds would jump to 5 - 11 psi then drop . Start truck and after a couple seconds would jump to 11 psi at idle around 5 WOT .I could hear my lift pump come on BEFORE changing filter this morning . Should I just replace it and not take a chance ? Since it is all stock I was thinking about the DDRP . Any thoughts as to what is going on or the DDRP?

Some update info . I crawled under truck and had wife work key and you CAN hear lift pump run for about 2 seconds , just very faint . Could a new filter have anything to do with it being quieter ? Also it would just show 5 or 6 psi where before it was 11 . Once it starts it shows 12 psi at a idle and 7 or 8 at WOT , just like before . I am really baffled why it is so hard to hear the lift pump . I know they are not much but if I don`t positively need it , I would prefer to wait a while before getting another ( better ) lift pump .

I would say if you can pull it off now, just go for it.. It would sure be better than sitting somplace with a dead lift pump, wishing you would have pulled the trigger earlier..
I prefer the Raptor FRRP over the FASS DDRP. I have great luck with mine and plenty of fuel!
Just my 2 cents, good luck!
