Hector you been around long enough to know about those junky black rebuilds from Czechoslovakia too..... I never knew you guys painted yours to look like those as well?

Hector BD,Thanks for responding.I found my receipt and the serial# is 848901,bought from Valley Fuel Injection ,where would i find the serial # on the actual pump? Shortly after ,I called The mechanic who installed the pump to investigate the hard or no starting when hot,but he could find nothing,nor the specialty diesel shop in Salt Lake City,nor in El Central California.On this site I learned of the method,pouring water on the pump when it will not hot start,and sure enough starts right up.PRE-BAKED ELECTRONIC BOARD FROM THE REBUILD. Well i,ve been living with this from the purchase date which granted was 09/01/2010 because i was new to this diesel business and I was just passing through your area when my VP44 packed it in.
