Anyone loose a fan blade? Got fan support?
Have the truck in the shop for exhaust manifold and the idle felt rough. After completing the exhaust manifold he fired it up and noticed wobble in the fan. Turns out I lost a fan blade and it took out the fan support. Dodge is nationally backordered at -197 units and $700+ just for the support. Gonna have to go used. Located the assembly (support, fan, fan clutch) somewhat local for $650
On the last leg of a 2500 mile trip a couple weeks ago, I felt/heard a clunk. Had a tire issue early in the trip and thought maybe I'd thrown some tread. Pulled over, checked tires...all OK. Open the hood, belt in place, gauges good, no fluids, etc....continue home. Idle felt rough and just didn't feel right while letting out the clutch. No issues at speed.
Weird failure IME.

Lost fan blade
I lost one last week in Idaho and thought I had a tire go on a car hauler and stopped to check and thought everything was OK until we stopped at a rest stop and noticed a bump in my hood. It tore the fan shroud up and got the radiator. Was lucky and limped into a small town and replaced the radiator. Can not find a fan in my state and had to order one out of state. They are on backorder everywhere.

Check your bearing. Mine was beyond toast. Presumably due to the out of balance fan after it lost a 1/2 blade. May have been going already. Fortunately no other damage.
I was a bit disappointed that the mechanic didn't realize you can replace just the bearing (I haven't verified the housing isn't damaged in the bore yet though).
Yeah, no new fans anywhere...so maybe the entire used assembly was the only way I was gonna get parts. Anyway, it's fixed now. A bit too much for used parts, but nothing else got damaged. I'll count my blessings.

I'd guess most are. But Dodge is out of fans for some reason. Could be high replacement rate and/or compounded by a design review due to a high replacement rate with potential safety and related damages.
