53 Block Cracked - ISB215 to ISB190 Swap Questions

Hello all, my 53 block has cracked and neither Cummins nor Dodge will do anything about it so I am looking to swap in a "new" motor. I have located a good running 1999 5.9L engine in a Ford Medium Duty F800 local to me. My "old" motor is an ISB 215 and the "new" motor is an ISB 190. Fuel rates are different, 80 versus 87 and the timing noted on the tag of my "old" motor says 100 MM, whereas the "new" motor's tag says timing ELECTRONIC. Does anyone know if these motors are interchangeable and the ISB 190 motor will run correctly with my "old" ISB 215 brain? Thank you and good day.

The Ford medium duty was still probably a P7100 inline mechanical pump.

Lots different, not a straight swap. Can you get a picture of the injection pump?

Great catch. I will go have another look tomorrow. If it has the P1700 pump, can I use that instead of the troublesome VP44? in my truck. Thanks for your post.

Yea, it will be a 12 valve though, I don't know all the requirements to make your gauges play nice, probably have to ask some of the guys who have swapped to a P-Pump.

The "new" motor, ISB 190 is a 24V. So should work fine I'd think.
